Write Away or Should I Say Type Away...

I am trying to grab at a dream of writing and completing a full novel. Publishing it would be great, but for now I just want to get the story on paper. I am doing this through Elizabeth George’s process that she explains thoroughly through her book, Write Away. Maybe then I will stop getting writer’s block, which is causing me to give up on the book in the middle of writing it and then having the same stories batting around in my head forever. To make matters worse I tend to add new ones to the pile. It's like one idea comes after another and flows like a never ending river. I would always start writing one of these many stories only to stop for a time and start over months later because it literally drives me nuts when scenes from my stories play in my mind again and again and again.

As for the blog, I am merely using it as a way of keeping my focus. I guess in a way, it is like the Journal of a Novel that Ms. George writes before she begins on her novel. However, it is different...

Anyway, I will begin my journey tomorrow...be warned that this is only my experiences, not my novel.
